- De Ligt recently visited Juve to checkout their training facilities and stadium
Serie A champions Juventus are set to table a bid for Ajax ace Matthijs de Ligt during the winter transfer window in January.
According to a Tribal Football report, citing sources at Corriere dello Sport, Juventus have prioritized the Dutch international as their top target during the forthcoming winter transfer window.
The Turin-based outfit are keen on the youngster and are lining up an initial bid of €40m for the 19 year-old De Ligt who is also under the radar of Spanish giants Barcelona.
Recently, De Ligt toured Juventus to checkout their training facilities and stadium, a visit that has now persuaded the Italians to officially table an offer.
Interestingly, at the end of visit, De Ligt was satisfied with his findings to Turin but did not issue a statement to that effect.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Juventus and three other European heavyweight clubs including Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona are in talks with Adrien Rabiot’s entourage, Paris United reports.
The France international's contract is set to expire next summer and the 23-year-old is free to discuss a move with foreign clubs in January.
The attacking midfielder has shown a reluctance to sign a new deal and could agree to leave for free in the January window.
