- Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger says Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is the best in the world
- He also claimed that his teammate at Stamford Bridge Eden Hazard is the second best player
- Rudiger rated Eden Hazard above Cristiano Ronaldo who is the current FIFA world best
Chelsea superstar Antonio Rudiger has claimed that his teammate at Stamford Bridge Eden Hazard is the second best player in the world behind Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
Currently, Juventus and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo is the best footballer in the world after winning the last FIFA Ballon D'Or, but Rudiger believes Hazard is better than him.
Since joining Chelsea in the year 2012 from Lille, Eden Hazard has been in superb form for the Stamford Bridge landlords winning two EPL titles, the FA Cup and Europa League.
Eden Hazard has not won the FIFA Ballon D'Or in his career but his teammate Antonio Rudiger has rated him ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.
''For me, the best player in the world is Lionel Messi, then Eden Hazard,'' the 25-year-old Germany international said according to Metro UK.
This season, Chelsea have won all their four games in the Premier League, and they are currently occupying second position on the standings.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger revealed he prefers the positive football of new manager Maurizio Sarri to Antonio Conte.
Sarri has won all four opening matches and Rudiger has featured in every game in a reshuffled back-four alongside David Luiz.
