Woman pursues degree in law after she witnessed her dad's murder

A young woman's world came crashing down after she witnessed the murder of her father. She was left traumatised after she was tasked with taking the stand as a witness.

However, the difficult situation inspired her to change the course of her life and she enrolled in school to study for a law degree.

Legit.ng gathered that @SheSouthAfrica shared the story of the 23-year-old, who was identified as Kearabetswe, on its official Twitter page on September 5.

The post was captioned:"Meet 23 year old Pretoria Based Law Student @__Kearabetswe. She always loved Law , but after witnessing her dad’s murder, attending the court case and having to testify, it made more sense for her to continue with Law, as painful as it was. Now she is seeing the beauty of Law."

Thus far, pursuing a degree and career in law has proven to be fruitful for the young lady. She is currently working as a paralegal at a law firm in Capital Park.

@SheSouthAfrica's post further states that she is loving her chosen field of expertise and that helping other people has become her passion.

"She love helping people, she is drawn to solving people’s problems & helping them even if it means changing & touching one person’s life, that is enough for her," the post read.

Legit.ng earlier reported that a 28-year-old woman identified as Mama Cax, who was given three weeks to live by doctors, made her modelling debut at the New York Fashion Week.

The model-activist walked the runway for the first time wearing a white prosthetic leg. Mama Cax who was diagnosed with bone and lung cancer when she was 14 years old, beat all odds after she was told she had only three weeks to live.
