Rapper Toyboykels claims Lagos police officer Joy Ogah robbed him inside their station, shares video

The Nigerian police are known for their less than stellar reputation. Often times, they are in the news for negative reasons rather than for positive reasons.

It has been reported several times that the populace has suffered in the hands of some dishonest police officers, thereby tainting the reputation of the few honest ones.

Legit.ng gathered that an upcoming rapper, Toyboykels, is the latest victim of their dishonest ways.

According to the rapper, a police officer by the name, Joy Ogah, stole one of his gold rings.

It all started when the rapper was arrested for no apparent reason and taken to Area C, Surulere police station. Perhaps suspecting that there could be foul play, he recorded all his possessions, so as not to forget anything.

According to him, he had two gold rings, a gold earring and an iced watch. But when he was released, he discovered that one of his gold rings was missing.

He further revealed that a police officer, Joy Ogah, who was in charge of the counter, was responsible for the theft and that she was being backed up by her colleagues.

The enraged entertainer even revealed that he had to pay to make a call, pay for being arrested in the first place, and also pay to stay in a VIP cell so he would not be detained alongside hoodlums.

Toyboykels, however, called for the return of his N100,000 gold ring.

In a subsequent post on the rapper's Instagram page, he revealed that the police officers at the station were begging him to settle the matter amicably. See video below:

This is coming after Legit.ng reported that a man was arrested after trafficking his two-year-old son.

The mother of the child reported to the police that her husband identified as Daniel Bassey, gave out the child to a trafficking agent for an undisclosed amount of money. This prompted the police to arrest Daniel.
