The stolen Range Rover SVAutobiography-Dynamic was a gift from Land Rover Jaguar ahead of his fight with former champions Wladimir Klitschko and includes a number of personalised details.

A spokesman for Joshua is quoted by the Sun as saying: "A shared car was stolen from a relatives central London home in the early hours of the morning.

"This is now a police matter and no further information will be made available."

It is understood that no one have been hurt in the incident, while a tracking device in the car has given Joshua hope it can recovered.

Police claim the thieves may have used a keyless device to mimic the car fob. The device can pick up the signal from the genuine fob and trick the car into being opened.

Once the thieves get inside, they can use a computer to start the engine and can fetch about £5,000 per car by dismantling it and rebuilding it with alternative pieces from other stolen cars to ensure the car is less identifiable.

"You know someone's happy when they're 50m away from the car and they're saying that looks phenomenal and they haven't even got inside," Joshua previously said about the Range Rover.

"I'm not someone that's like 'that will do, I'm happy with that'. It's great or nothing and I'm over the moon with that.

"It's just perfect. It's subtle and your eyes draw to the finer details, the small touches of attention and I'm overwhelmed.

"I couldn't have asked for anything anymore. That's what having a special car is about - something that represents you."
