- Neymar reportedly wants a return to former side Barcelona
- The PSG star is allegedly unsettled with his club in Ligue 1
- The 26-year-old is currently with Brazil squad in the US
Brazil star Neymar has reportedly asked Barcelona for a move back to Nou Camp - but the club has been unmoved with his plea.
The 26-year-old joined Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain last summer in a world-record £200million move.
However, it is believed Neymar almost instantly regretted his move and began pining for a return to Spain.
According to Barcelona-based print media out, Mundo Deportivo, the PSG forward struggled with their leading man Edinson Cavani, and young French star Kylian Mbappe.
Neymar also felt he was being deliberately targeted by opposing defenders since arriving in ligue 1.
He still maintains a good rapport with some of Barcelona's staff and has reportedly spoken to one executive about a possible return.
But the Catalan giants are reluctant to bring the Brazilian back due to those - including his father - who advise him.
They also believe they have adequately replaced Neymar since he left and his most likely destination could be Real Madrid who are yet to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar found the back net with a breath-taking effort from the edge of the box and then ran to display Cristiano Ronaldo's kind of celebration.
Tite's men are set to file out against the United States and El Salvador in their international friendlies, and Neymar will be seeking to replicate his goal scoring form in training in both matches.
