Chelsea star Gary Cahill wants to leave the club next year

- Englishman Gary Cahill could be on his way out of Chelsea next year

- The 32-year-old is said to be tired of sitting on the bench this term

- He has not played any game this season for the Stamford Bridge club

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has reportedly threatened to quit the Premier League side when the January transfer window opens unless he gets regular playing time at Stamford Bridge.

Since new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri took over the Blues, the 32-year-old Cahill has not played a single minute under the Italian football coach.

Chelsea have played four games this term in the English topflight in which Brazilian defender David Luiz returned to the first team forcing Gary Cahill to sit on the bench.

And according to the report by UK Sun, Gary Cahill is no longer comfortable sitting on the bench and may put an end to his six-year career at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri’s insistence on using only two central defenders instead of the three employed by his predecessor Antonio Conte in matches has limited Cahill’s opportunities.
