- Man City star Leroy Sane has been recalled into the Germany national team
- He was left out of the squad that crashed out of the 2018 World Cup in Russia at the group stage
- Real Madrid star Toni Kroos believes the attacker's body language does not show commitment to the team
Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has attributed Leroy Sane's exclusion from his side's Russia 2018 World Cup squad to his lackadaisical attitude.
The Manchester City superstar was a notable ommission from Joachim Low's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia where the crashed out at the group stage, having won just one of their three group matches.
Real Madrid midfielder Kroos claims Sane's disposition to the success of the team is questionable.
He added that the 22-year-old, who had a superb outing in the 2017-18 Premier League season under Pep Guardiola sometimes needed to be told what to do.
However, in spite of having a restful summer, City manager Guardiola has not really been playing the German attacker owing to the quality of players at his disposal.
Despite winning the PFA Young Player of the Year last campaign, Sane has found game-time hard to come by in the new campaign though, as he was left out of the City squad that beat Newcastle 2-1 before the international break .
And having been recalled to the Germany squad, Real Madrid's Kroos says that Sane has a lot of work to do.
"You sometimes get the feeling that it doesn't matter to him if we win or lose," Kroos told a press conference ahead of Germany's Nations League meeting with France, via bulinews .
"He has got everything to become a world-class player, but sometimes, he needs to be told what to do. "If he brings all his quality to the pitch, he can help us a lot."
