Players of Premier League champions Manchester City have been banned by their coach Pep Guardiola from using their mobile phones in all working spaces in training.

The former Barcelona gaffer wants his wards to maintain the defense of their Premier League title this term.

According to the report by Dailymail, all Manchester City players are not allowed to use their devices in analysis sessions, team meetings, the gym and training pitches.

The report also stated that any Manchester City players caught doing this will be fined as Pep Guardiola also frown at late arrival in training.

This season, Benjamin Mendy has already been fined for his lateness to training, and German star Leroy Sane was also dropped in Manchester City's win against Newcastle United.
