- Reports reveal Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest paid player in Italy
- The Juventus striker earns earns £19.5m more than Higuain who is second
- Ronaldo teammates, Paulo Dybala and Leonardo Bonnucci are also on the chart
Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to score in three Serie A matches as he kick starts his campaign with his new club.
However the 33-year-old can sleep easy knowing full well he earns triple more than any other star with a mouth-watering income of £28million per annum.
The Portuguese star easily pockets more than any other player in Italy's top-flight division following his £99million summer move from Real Madrid.
His wages of more than £500,000 a week dominates the likes of even Gonzalo Higuain, Paulo Dybala and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Higuain is the second-highest earner in Italy at £8.5million - a whopping £19.5million difference from Ronaldo's annual income.
Ronaldo's teammate and Argentina international Dybala, is third on the chart, at a comparatively measly £6million.
Even home-favourites like AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma, Juve's Leonardo Bonucci and Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi, all sit miles behind Ronaldo.
While the ex-Manchester United star has been unable to find the back of the net since moving from the Bernabeu to the Allianz Stadium, it has not affected the Serie A champions in points earned so far.
The Biaconeri have won all three of their opening games - recording wins against Chievo, Lazio, and Parma in three matches played.
Ronaldo and his Juventus team-mates will hope they will be able to keep their perfect start going as they battle for an eighth straight Scudetto.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo does not appear too stressed about his barren goal run as he relaxes on a boat with stunning girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
Following his nearly £100million move from Real Madrid to Juventus this summer, big things have been expected of the 33-year-old.
