Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, September 3, arrived Iwo in Osun state to launch empowerment programme for 30,000 petty traders in the state.
Legit.ng regional reporters in Osun state, Sola Adetona, reports that Osinbajo's aircraft landed at DC Elementary School, Araromi, Iwo at about 2:10pm.
It was gathered that the traders, APC supporters and citizens of Iwo had been waiting for him since 10am.
He arrived the venue with the governor of state, Rauf Aregbesola, minister for health, Prof. Issac Adewole and other dignitaries.
During the visit, Professor Osinbajo will launch empowerment programme for 30, 000 petty traders in the state.
The programme which is in partnership with Bank of Industry will also be extended to other state in the country.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the minister of state for budget and national planning, Zaynab Ahmed, said said Federal Executive Council has added 9,400 beneficiaries to the N-power scheme under the Social Investment Programme (SIP).
