Feminism is a hot topic on Nigerian social media these days. Just recently,, reported how a woman dumped Christianity, stating that women didn't emerged from the ribs of men as the holy bible states.

In her opinion, feminism in the present age, is just a series of debate on the stance of a woman in the society. Cuppy believes that such exhausting narratives won't do anything to change the fact that perhaps, most industries are male dominated and a woman has to work twice as hard to find her bearing.

She revealed that rather than keep debating the norm and questioning the value of women, she would rather focus her energy on building her life and making her mark on the pages of history as a woman who worked in male-dominated society and prevailed.

Many fans thought her statement were completely irrelevant and as a woman who should understand the struggle, she should try harder to use her influence to make a difference.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer and single mother of one, Tiwa Savage, recently opened up about beauty standards society holds women up to. She revealed that she has to remind herself she's beautiful everyday because of her brown skin.
