- The Red Devils are ready to offer him another 12 months deal to stay at the club
- Pereira is a target for Spanish La Liga side Valencia
Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer midfield maestro Andreas Pereira a new 12 months contract to prevent him from leaving the club for free next summer.
Andreas Pereira's current deal at Old Trafford will expire next summer and Manchester United want the 22-year-old Brazilian star to extend his stay at the club.
Spanish club Valencia wanted to sign him this month but they were unable to meet Manchester United £20m asking price.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been impressed with Pereira's attitude so far this season and wants him to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
“Pereira looks like he is getting an extension. He has been impressive so far.
“There is a belief he can still make the grade here and just needs a run of game time under his belt.
“The club want to see how he progresses over the next year before deciding whether to up his wages.
“He impressed Jose by getting in shape early this summer and making it clear he was ready to fight for his future,'' An Old Trafford source said according to UK Sun.
