PSG vow to drag Barcelona to FIFA over approach for Adrien Rabiot

French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and their Spanish counterpart Barcelona are locked in a deadly misunderstanding which has threatened the relative peace exiting between the two top clubs.

According to a UK Daily Mail report citing sources at Sport, the dispute between the pair is linked with PSG's midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has less than a year left on his deal with the Paris-based outfit

The report claims that the Nou Camp chiefs, established contact with PSG to declare their interest in the player earlier this summer, with Barca’s technical secretary Eric Abidal and Pep Segura visiting Paris.

However, the French club are now suggesting that the Liga champions have already reached an agreement with Rabiot to sign him for nothing next term.

Consequently, the French club have revealed that they are willing to drag Barcelona to FIFA’s court because of their conduct.

However, Barcelona maintained that PSG are blowing the issue out of proportion.

In addition, it is suggested that PSG's recent move for Ivan Rakitic, is among the issues that is threatening the peace at both clubs.

At the moment, it has been reported that a £80m offer was being sourced to seal move, for the Croatian star to Paris.
