The Nigerian government has made its stand on homosexuality known, and even stamped a 14-year sentence on whoever has been proven to be gay. This law, however, seems not to be functional going by the large numbers of citizens coming out to be homosexual.

The world is a global village and people are getting more aware of their sexual preference and also having sympathy for people with different sexual orientations. In Nigeria for instance, more and more people are openly opposing the law that homosexuals would be jailed for 14 years.

Legit.ng earlier reported that 57 suspected gay men were recently arrested in Lagos during a party. The party was suspected to be an initiation party, and 57 men were arrested.
