Manchester United on Monday night, August 27, suffered another embarrassing defeat in the Premier League as they were defeated by Tottenham 3-0 at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils went into this game with the hopes of getting the maximum three points after losing their last tie at Brighton, but United made their fans livid again.

Although there was no goal scored in the first 45 minutes, but Jose Mourinho's were completely mesmerized by Tottenham in front of their faithfuls.

Englishman Harry Kane scored the first goal for Tottenham in the 50th minutes after receiving a brilliant assist from Kieran Trippier to send David De Gea the wrong way.

Two minutes later, the visitors scored their second goal through Lucas Moura who was wonderfully assisted by Christian Eriksen.

Belgium international Romelu Lukaku had the chance to reduce the scoreline in the 60th minute, but his superb effort was denied by Frenchman Hugo Lloris.

Harry Kane who was the highest goal scorer at the 2018 World Cup provided the assist that gave Tottenham the third goal in the 84th minute scored by Lucas Moura as Spurs won the match 3-0.

The win has taken Tottenham to second position on the Premier League standings with nine points after three games played this term.
