Barcelona superstar Gerard Pique has explained that he would be happy if his club can sign Manchester United star Paul Pogba before the end of the summer transfer.
August 31 is the deadline for the summer transfer window in Spain and Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to the Catalan giants after winning the 2018 World Cup title.
Manchester United want the Frenchman to stay at Old Trafford this season but Gerard Pique has urged his club to lure Paul Pogba to the Spanish La Liga.
''I don't know about his relationship with Mourinho, but we would be happy to see Paul Pogba in Barcelona's shirt.
‘'Pogba is a very good player, but a Manchester United player right now, and we’ll see if anything happens in the future.
'‘We would be happy to have him here, but Manchester United is his club and if someone has to say something, it must be them,'' Pique told Spanish newspaper Sport.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how reigning Spanish champions Barcelona were said to have been given the assurances that Frenchman Paul Pogba will join them this season.
Mino Raiola who is the agent of Paul Pogba is said to have assured Barcelona that they have the chance to sign his client in January 2019.
