Sarri gives Chelsea stars chance to spend mornings with their kids

- Maurizio Sarri has moved some Chelsea training sessions to the afternoon

- He wants his players to spend the mornings at home with their children

- Sarri has won his first two Premier League games in charge of the Blues

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has moved some training sessions to the afternoon so that his players can spend the mornings at home with their kids.

This is in his bid to win the hearts of all the Chelsea players in his first reign as the Blues manager after replacing Antonio Conte.

A player like Alvaro Morata who recently became the proud father of twins will now have the time to play with his children before going to training.

“The new man is sympathetic to the players and their lives outside football.

“A lot of it comes from the fact Maurizio had a life outside football before becoming a coach and therefore doesn’t see it as the be all and end all.

“He is working them hard and sometimes there are double sessions.

“But he is also mindful they have young families and a good way to keep them happy is with some freedom.

“That includes letting them train in the afternoons and enjoy a morning with their kids and families,'' A source at Chelsea explained according to UK Sun.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have played two Premier League games this season and the Blues won the two encounters as Sarri began his reign on a winning note.
