Former Arsenal star midfielder Jack Wilshere has sent new Gunners manager Unai Emery a fiery warning ahead of his emotional return to the Emirates.

According to reports Wilshere will be out to prove Emery was wrong to end his stay at the Gunners.

Emery is said to have informed the 26-year old that he was unlikely to feature regularly under his reign at the London club following the signings of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.

The move saw Wilshere dump his boyhood club sealing a move across the capital to West Ham United during the summer transfer window.

Like Arsenal, West Ham will head into the Saturday match in poor form, having failed to to collect a point in their two opening ties of the new season.

And now Wilshere contends it could be a good time for the Hammers to play Arsenal.

The midfielder noted that West Ham has what it takes to inflict further misery on his former club.

‘'They’ve got a new manager, but I know the players, so hopefully it’ll be a good time to play them," he stated.

It’ll be a strange one for me as I was never able to go there and play when I went out on loan as you can play against your parent club, but it’s one I’m looking forward to."

'‘It’s down to me to prove a point to Arsenal that they were wrong to get rid of me," he added.

The Gunners are yet to win a single point, having lost both of their opening matches to Manchester City and Chelsea.

They will be looking to record their first win when they face West Ham at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, previously had reported that N'Golo Kante showed he is a nice person to have around after consoling an unhappy Arsenal fan after the Blues win against the Gunners.

According to a UK Sun report the 27-year-old Frenchman apologised to the fan after the match at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea toppled their London rivals 3-2 in an entertaining Premier League contest.
