Chelsea will now have to win the Europa League title or finish among the top four teams at the end of the ongoing EPL season for them to keep Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge next term.
Maurizio Sarri's side are ready with a five-year contract worth around £300,000 a week for their Belgian star and want him to sign the deal as soon as possible.
But according to the report by UK Sun, Eden Hazard is yet to be convinced his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge.
The report added that the Belgium international wants to win the Europa League title this season which will be an automatic Champions League qualification for Chelsea.
But should Chelsea fail to win the Europa League, they will have to finish among the top four teams for them to keep Eden Hazard who is wanted by Real Madrid.
Eden Hazard is yet to start in Sarri’s first two Premier League matches this season after reaching the World Cup semi-finals with Belgium in the summer.
