Davido wows fans as he gifts fan N1m on Instagram

Top Nigerian music star Davido has again proven to everyone that he has risen to where he is just by lifting others!

The DMW boss won the hearts of many Nigerians after he recently dashed one of his fans a whooping sum of N1million. The singer announced that he would be dropping his new single AZA on Tuesday, August 21 and so he asked fans to drop their ‘AZA’ and the best would win.

He captioned it: " For the Culture! ‘AZA DROPS 2MORO!! @peruzzi_vibes @duncanmighty IM PICKING THE WINNER RANDOMLY"

As expected, Davido got thousands of answers and the winner was a model with the name @chinwendu_unachukwu. Not that she was the best, but he said he would pick the winner randomly and she got it.

The winner has since acknowledged getting an alert of N1m on her phone and has thanked Davido for picking her.

Meanwhile, days after Nigerians called out Duncan Mighty to bowing to Davido, his manager has taken out time to address the situation.

According to him, Duncan was just happy to have Davido in the Niger Delta and it was out of this excitement that he bowed. In his words:

"Duncan was just happy to have Davido in the Niger Delta; it was the first time he would visit for a video shoot. How many top artistes come to Port Harcourt? Everyone goes to Dubai, South Africa and other places to shoot videos. It is a big deal for someone like Davido to come to Port Harcourt and for Duncan Mighty to collaborate with him as well. He didn’t plan to bow to anyone; he was just excited. But people misinterpreted his gesture. Sometimes, there is no need to react to things like this because you will only give people more reasons to talk. When I mentioned it to him, he just focused on other things and wanted to know the next thing on the agenda.”
