SummerSlam 2018 Kickoff results
As it is customary, Summer Slam begins with the two-hour Kickoff show featuring three matches, the results of which are just as important as the results of the main event. So here is a breakdown of what happened during the first two hours of SummerSlam 2018 (with no restrain on spoilers):
Andrade "Cien" Almas & Zelina Vega versus Rusev & Lana
Winners: Andrade "Cien" Almas & Zelina Vega
In this initial match, Almas distracted Lana, which allowed Vega to pin her down at 7:01.
Drew Gulak versus Cedric Alexander
Winner: Cedric Alexander
This was a match for the Cruiserweight Championship, where the reigning champion Alexander managed to keep his title in a fight against Gulak. Cedric pinned Drew around 11:00, but it was hard to tell the exact time due to the network issues of WWE.
The B-Team versus The Revival
Winners: The B-Team
In the match for the Raw Tag Team Championship, The B-Team kept their title despite The Revival being dominant during the whole match. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas were on the brink of defeat when they managed to score the win. The winning pin happened at 6:10.

After such an exciting start, the main event did not disappoint either. It was full of fascinating fights and even a few title changes. Here are all the results you should know about:
Seth Rollins versus Dolph Ziggler
Winner: Seth Rollins
In a fight for Intercontinental Championship, Dolph lost his title to Seth, when the latter pinned him at 22:00. While Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose stood ringside, Rollins landed a superkick along with a curb stomp for the win.
The Bludgeon Brothers versus The New Day
Winners: The New Day
In this match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship, The New Day won by disqualification at 9:28, after Rowan of The Bludgeon Brothers used his hammer against Big E of The New Day.

Winner: Braun Strowman
After a combination of a chokeslam and a powerslam, Braun had no difficulty winning the Money in the Bank Briefcase Match at just 1:54.
Becky Lynch versus Charlotte Flair versus Carmella
Winner: Charlotte Flair
In this Triple Threat match, Charlotte hit Becky with Natural Selection and had Carmella in Disarmher, which brought her seventh win at 14:40. However, after the match was over, Lynch hugged Flair, then gave her face a big old smack and then proceeded to give her a beating to the cheers of the crowd.
Samoa Joe versus AJ Styles
Winner: Samoa Joe
In the match for the WWE Championship played dirty by harassing AJ’s wife, who was in the crowd, but then Styles played even dirtier when he smacked the potty-mouth with a chair. Samoa Joe won by disqualification at 22:45, and the title remained with AJ Styles.
Daniel Bryan versus The Miz
Winner: The Miz
Taking into account the eight-year feud between The Miz and Daniel Bryan, this match was particularly fascinating. For over twenty minutes, they went at each other with seemingly no end in sight, and at one point, Bryan could have even won the match. But thanks to Maryse (The Miz’s wife) and her brass knuckles, The Miz was able to knock his opponent out at 23:25, and no dive on Bryan’s part could have saved him.
Finn Balor versus Baron Corbin
Winner: Finn Balor
Once again, The Demon did not disappoint, as he only took 1:29 to squash the Constable. While the demon paint might have been unnecessary for this non-title match, it looked spectacular, even though the whole thing lasted for a little over a minute.
Shinsuke Nakamura versus Jeff Hardy

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
In the match for the United States Championship, it took Nakamura a little over 10 minutes (10:56, to be exact) to pin his opponent and prove his title. The finishing move was Shinsuke Nakamura’ signature Kinshasa.
Ronda Rousey versus Alexa Bliss
Winner: Ronda Rousey
This was a first ever WWE Championship win for Ronda, and she won it thanks to an armbar in a Raw Women’s Championship Match against Alexa Bliss, who has previously held the title. It took Rousey 4:37 to beat Bliss into submission.
Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar
Winner: Roman Reigns
In the last match of the evening, blood was boiling, as Strowman decided to cash in his win from the Money in the Bank against the winner of this Universal Championship match. During the fight, he put his money where his mouth was because Lesnar beat him with his own briefcase. That said, the win went to Reigns, who pinned Lesnar at 6:05.
As you can see, the six-hour show did nothing but entertain its viewers the entire evening. Some results were quite predictable, while others might have been very surprising. Were you able to predict the outcome of this event? What was your favourite match? Let us know!
