Super Eagles Alex Iwobi agrees that Arsenal were a bit shaky and clueless at the early stage of their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old scored a supeb goal that leveled up for the Gunners in the first half but a Marcos Alonso's stunner in the 81st minute ensured they suffered their second straight defeat in the 2018-19 campaign.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan reduced his side's deficit in the 37th minute after which Iwobi leveled parity for the visitors in the 41st encounter.

Iwobi said after the match that: "We started shaky, I don’t know, maybe we didn’t know what to do.

"But we picked ourselves up and got going. Unfortunately we weren’t able to take all our chances."

The Nigeria international, who graduated from Arsenal academy however said that they are prepared to work their socks off to impress new boss Unai Emery.

The former Sevilla coach has yet to win a game after two losses, following their defeat to Manchester City last week.

On Emery’s half-time team talk he said: "We were on a high. The message was to keep it going, keep our head and don’t lose ourselves. We fought hard for him.
