Buhari’s administration run by saboteurs - Ogbemudia Jnr alleges

- Samuel Ogbemudia Jnr has accused saboteurs of undermining the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari

- Ogbemudia said the actions of these saboteurs have prevented Nigerians from benefiting from the dividends of democracy

- He also urged the president to remove all the bad eggs in his adminsitartion

The eldest son of later Samuel Ogbemudia, Jnr, has said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration is being run by some saboteurs withing his cabinet.

Ogbemudia said these saboteurs both at federal and state government levels has made it difficult for Nigerians to feel the impact of the achievement of the present administration, Vanguard reports.

Speaking to journalists in Benin city, Edo state on Wednesday, August 15, Ogbemudia said it will be difficult to enjoy the benefits of democracy with these saboteurs still present in President Buhari's cabinet.

Ogbemudia said: “President Muhammadu Buhari has to beam his searchlight on his cabinet and remove the bad eggs in the government so that the people can begin to feel the impact of the giant strides which he has recorded so far in his administration.”

He also called for a strong representation of the Edo south constituency at the National Assembly.

Meanwhile, previously reported that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, had said that he was confident President Buhari would win the 2019 elections.

Tinubu made the statement in Lagos while addressing party members at a stakeholders meeting of the state chapter.

He said that the president had acquitted himself as a leader so far inspite of the challenges of governance.
