The advent of social media has made it possible for people to share photos and images of things they see every day. It has also made it hard to verify the information shared online.
A Twitter user identified as @Yommie_Scream shared a photo showing two women who are twins claiming that they are both 120-years-old each.
It is unclear where he met the women but his tweet indicates they were found somewhere in Africa. The ages of the women cannot be verified also.
See his post below:
“The oldest twins alive today! 120years, still beautiful and kicking it in the Motherland. Show some Respect to the Black Queens”
This is coming after Legit.ng shared the story of Pa Celestine Egboluche who recently turned 100 years, making him the oldest prisoner in Nigeria. The centenarian who has been in the Enugu Maximum Prison for over 17 years was condemned to the death over his involvement in what is believed to be a land tussle that led to the death of someone.
However, an NGO, Global Society for Anti-corruption (GSAC), is pushing for the centenarian’s release. Egbunuche is said to have suffered from diabetes over the years. GSAC has appealed to the federal government and Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha to have mercy and release him.
