Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state on Wednesday, August 15, wondered if impeaching Senate President Bukola Saraki would reduce the price of a bag of rice in the market to N7,000.
Fayose took to his Twitter account, @GovAyoFayose, to express his thoughts.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a federal lawmaker, Senator Philip Gyunka, said that any plot to illegally impeach the president of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki, will be strongly resisted.
Gyunka, representing Nasarawa North, said this at a rally to mark his official declaration to run for the Nasarawa state governorship election.
Gyunka, who expressed concern over the role played by the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, in the matter, said the position of the Constitution on who should be president of the Senate was clear.
