Spanish League giants Valencia have agreed to sign Michy Batshuayi on a season long loan deal from Chelsea.
The Belgian forward spent last season on loan at German League side Borussia Dortmund after spending the first half of the 2017-18 season at the Stamford Bridge.
He was part of the Belgium team that won bronze medal at the 2018 World Cup after beating England 2-0 in the third place match in July.
The Blues confirmed that they have sent the striker on loan for the 2018-19 season: "Chelsea Football Club has today agreed terms with Valencia for Michy Batshuayi to join the Spanish side on a season-long loan."
Batshuayi joined west London team in the summer of 2016 from French League side Marseille €39 million and scored five goals in 20 topflight games for the club.
He was also impressive for Dortmund in all competitions last term after scoring seven goals in 10 league games in the second stanza of the season.
Legit.ng previously reported that Michy Batshuayi looked set to join Spanish League side Sevilla before the close of summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old striker is behind Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud in the pecking order at Chelsea and Sevilla want to explore the chance to sign him according to Goal.
The report also stated that Atletico Madrid and Valencia are also interested in signing Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea this summer.
