The cooing smile of Byron Baxter is enough to melt one’s heart much more is his lovely baby chatters and wide eyed face. But as perfectly endearing as the 3-year-old boy is, he is battling a rare condition that threatens to break him on the inside till there is nothing left.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta, this is what Byron is contending with even as a little child. Based on the definition of a medical dictionary, Osteogenesis imperfecta is an inherited condition marked by abnormally brittle bones that are subject to fracture.

What this means is that the affected victim’s bones begin to break and experience fracture at a fast rate for no obvious reason.

Byron who is based in the USA came to the knowledge of many people around the world through the inventiveness of his parents who began sharing his journey and experiences on Instagram and other social media outlets.

Also, the brave parents who have stood out as examples of resilience started a GoFundme project for their amazing kid just so he could get a chance to have a better life. So far, about $90, 000 has been raised in two months of opening the page.

The story of Byron and his younger brother Blake who is ‘just a lot bigger’ has been inspiring many people all over including popular rapper and pop star Cardi b who has not just shared the inspiring story of the prodigy but has also contributed towards the bone infusion surgeries which took place on Tuesday August 1.

After a successful surgery that left the boy and his mother Ebonie Marie Baxter very happy and relieved, cute pictures and videos of the little guy has gone viral with over 600,000 views gotten on YouTube.
