Former Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal trained with his new club mates at Barcelona for the first time on Tuesday.

According to the UK Sun report, the 31-year-old midfielder was caught on camera sweating it out alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez after sealing a switch from German Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.

The Chile star was expected to have an embarrassing reunion with Messi after he previously criticized the playmaker's ability.

However, the Chilean was all smiles as he jogged behind Argentina star, at the complex in Sant Joan Despi.

Another new boy Malcom, who joined Barcelona from Ligue 1 side, Boudreaux also trained with the team.

Barcelona will tackle Sevilla in the final of the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday.

The club’s manager Ernesto Valverde is expecting his side to bounce back this weekend after suffering a 4-2 defeat to Roma in their International Champions Cup match.

Already, Vidal has declared his intention to claim the Champions League silverware with the Nou Camp outfit this campaign.

"I don't know if I have unfinished business with Madrid, but I do with the Champions League, which is my goal.

"I hope to achieve this goal here with Barcelona.

"We'll see what happens when we get to play against Madrid,” Vidal was quoted as saying.

Interestingly, after winning six trophies at the Allianz Arena with Bayern, Vidal moved to the Nou Camp on a three-year deal early in the week.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Barcelona have reportedly completed the signing of Chile international Arturo Vidal from German club Bayern Munich.

The 31-year-old is reported to have agreed personal terms with the Spanish giants after being told he could leave Bayern Munich according to the report by UK Sun.

Although Barcelona and Bayern Munich have not confirmed the latest development but it is believed that Arturo Vidal moved to the Nou Camp for around £27 million.
