Top Nigerian musician, 2baba, has reacted to the invasion of the National Assembly complex by Department of State Services (DSS) operatives on August 7. Reports of the apparent siege took over the internet as it was on-going in the early hours of the day.

Many Nigerians immediately reacted to the news, including 2baba, who aired his opinion on his Twitter page. The unlikely activist made it known that only a few know the true happenings surrounding the fight for and against democracy as regrading the siege that shut down the legislative arm of the Nigerian government.

He expressed his disappointment over the current situation of the country and stated that Nigerians should wary of being fooled by certain people who are playing games with 'no shame.'

Meanwhile, following the invasion of National Assembly by DSS operatives, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo sacked the director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura.

Daura was summarily dismissed and asked to hand over to the most-senior official behind him, a move that has sent ripples through the country’s political and security circles.
