- Chelsea have line up a £200,000 fine for Thbiaut Courtois
- The Belgian shot-stopper has not returned to training
- The Blues are looking to make a move for Jan Oblak
Chelsea are set to fine Thibaut Courtois £200,000 after the goalkeeper failed to return to pre-season training this week, Daily Mail reports.
The Belgian was due to return to Cobham on Monday after an extended World Cup holiday but failed to turn up in a desperate bid to force a move away from Stamford Bridge.
The fine consists of two-weeks wages for Courtois who is thought to be on a £100,000 per week deal.
The Blues have opened disciplinary procedures against their number one who remains in Belgium having also failed to turn up on Tuesday morning.
The 26-year-old is hoping to force through a move to Real Madrid but Chelsea will not the let the shot-stopper leave for less than £45million.
Courtois has just 12-months to run on his current deal at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea may have to compromise on a fee or risk losing a prized asset on a free transfer next summer.
New manager Maurizio Sarri is also keen on having a replacement lined up before Thursday's 5pm deadline.
Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak has been targeted as a replacement, with the Blues even tempted to break the world record fee for a goalkeeper by triggering the stopper's £89million release clause.
Courtois has said he wants to join his family in the Spanish capital, where he featured before replacing Petr Cech as No 1 at Stamford Bridge.
He spent three seasons on loan at Atletico after joining Chelsea back in 2011, winning a La Liga title and the Europa League, before finishing runners-up in the Champions League in 2014.
