Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui is reportedly interested in signing Chelsea superstar Marcos Alonso this summer.

The Galacticos have been heavily linked with a move for Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Willian all season long.

They have now added the Spanish defender to the list of Blues stars they are willing to lure to the Santiago Bernabeu before the start of a new season.

Daily Star quoting Don Balon reports that Lopetegui is said to have ordered Florentino Perez to sign Alonso this summer.

The 27-year-old has about three more seasons on his current contract with the Stamford Bridge outfit side after joining them from Fiorentina in 2016.

Alonso played as a left wing-back for Antonio Conte in his first season when they were crowned Premier League champions.

He continued his impressive performance for the club as they won FA Cup title after losing the EPL to Manchester City last term.

According to reports, Alonso could be fielded in the midfield should Luka Modric leave the Spanish League side, as the Croatian star has been tipped to join Inter Milan.
