Premier League side Manchester United have sealed a two-year-deal for former Manchester City youngster Reece Devine.
According to the Old Trafford side the England left winger Devine spent 24 months training with the Manchester City academy but left the Etihad stadium at the end of last campaign.
And Manchester United moved in quickly to offer the 16-year-old a two-year deal which will see heading into the club's under-18 squad.
Academy boss Nicky is impressed with Devine's potential and decided to take advantage after seeing his leave Red Devils’ city rivals.
The Old Trafford outfit also raided Championship side Birmingham for their highly-rated young winger Connor Stanley as the Premier League giants are eager to improve their academy squad this term.
Manchester United claimed the under-18s Premier League North title last campaign, but club chiefs are not satisfied with the quality of players the Red Devils are producing.
Recently, Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho queried the club’s youth system known in the past for producing young exceptional talent during his recent pre-season tour of America.
