- Premier League clubs paid £217m to injured players in the 2017/18 season

- Arsenal had the highest number of injured players and paid £19.3m

- Manchester City who won the League title paid £13.9 to 24 of their players

Manchester United have emerged as the top Premier League club that paid the highest sum of money to injured players at the 2017/18 EPL season which was won by Manchester City.

A total sum of £217m in wages was paid to all the injured players with the highest payment coming from Manchester United who paid £23.3m.

37 Manchester United players got injured last season as they ended the term without lifting any trophy.

Arsenal had the highest number of injury players last season as 54 of their playing personnel got injured and paid 19.3m
