- Willian was sighted at Sao Paulo airport getting set to jet back to the west London from holiday

- The Selecao ace could not meet the club’s deadline date due to shortage of pages in his passport

- Blues new boss Maurizio Sarri is expected to hold crisis talks with Willian this weekend

Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Willian was caught on camera at Sao Paulo international airport getting set to return to the United Kingdom to face the Blues new boss Maurizio Sarri.

According to the UK Sun report, the Selecao ace delayed his return to the west London club’s Cobham training HQ after enjoying an extended vacation after representing Brazil at the summer World Cup in Russia.

The report further noted that the Brazil international was unable to meet the club’s Friday deadline set by Sarri after discovering that he was short of pages in his passport and had to wait for a new one.

Interestingly, the latest scenario commenced no sooner Chelsea snubbed a third bid from Barcelona valued at £55million for Willian with Spanish rival Real Madrid also eyeing a £100m double swoop for the Brazilian alongside goalie Thibaut Courtois.

Sarri hinted that he would be holding discussions with the 29-year-old playmaker before this weekend.

“I want to speak to him. I am not happy about this situation but before I answer, I would like to speak to him.”

Questioned further if he found it strange, the Italian replied: "I think so,” Sarri said.

The Italian was speaking after the Chelsea’s' 1-1 draw with Arsenal in Dublin where they later conceded a goal with just 17 seconds left.

The encounter also saw Petr Cech denied Alvaro Morata from the spot in the first half before Antonio Rudiger netted Chelsea’s opener Sarri's side ahead.

Alexandre Lacazette's strike in the closing moments sent the game to a penalty shootout where Cech stopped Ruben Loftus-Cheek kick to hand Arsenal the victory.

The FA Cup winners Chelsea will turn their attention to Premier League champions Manchester City who they face at Wembley on Sunday in the Community Shield showdown.

Meanwhile, previously had reported that Chelsea new coach Maurizio Sarri is unhappy with Brazilian winger Willian for skipping training.

The 29-year-old delayed his return to the club after being given an extended holiday following Brazil’s World Cup campaign in Russia.

Reports claim Willian was unable to return last Friday – the date set by Sarri – because he did not renew his passport in time.
