Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly ready to hijack the move of Englishman Jack Grealish to Tottenham by submitting an impressive offer to his club Aston Villa.
The 22-year-old winger has been linked with a move to Tottenham after impressing last season but the Blues have now joined the race to sign him this summer.
According to the report by UK Sun, former Chelsea captain John Terry has given his seal of approval for the Blues to sign Jack Grealish.
However, no deal has been reached and Chelsea and Tottenham appear to be at a standoff over Grealish’s fee.
Grealish joined Aston Villa at the age of six and made his debut for the club in May 2014 following a loan at Notts County.
He was capped by the Republic of Ireland up to under-21 level before confirming his decision to play for England in April 2016.
