- 31-year-old Heather Mosher passed on few hours after the intimate hospital wedding ceremony
35-year-old David Mosher had the most devastating moment when he married the love of his life, Heather Mosher, on the hospital bed. David and Heather began their love affair few months before she started a year-long battle with cancer.
In fulfilling her dreams before death, Heather, decided to marry David and become a mother to his two daughters, Sophia, eight, and six-year-old Molly. The ceremony was held in the hospital as Heather battled to prolong her last moments on earth.
The couple gazed deeply into each other's eyes as everyone present lived to watch them tie the knot and promise to love and cherish the moment forever. For late Heather, it was all about fulfilling her dream and crossing on to the other side having made her family happy.
Photos from the ceremony have been circulating the internet, making most people cherish life and admire the courage of David and his girls who stood by Heather till her dying breath.
18 hours after the beautiful ceremony which left most of the hospital staff present in tears, the newly-wed bride gave up the ghost and left her new family with special moments to live with for the rest of their lives.
Surrounded by tubes, she layed still as makeup was applied to her cheeks. Indeed, she had a lovely soul and was happy to be a wife.
Despite wearing an oxygen mask to help her breathe, Heather smiled, laughed and shared tender embraces with loved ones throughout the day.
On December 23, 2017, a day after the wedding, a heartbroken Dave clutched his bride's hand as she passed away, only hours after they had exchanged vows in Connecticut, US.
"All she wanted was to be a mother and a wife," said the groom, who wants to raise awareness of the rare type of breast cancer Heather suffered from.
May the soul of the departed rest in peace.
