Jose Mourinho stops Manchester United from selling Victor Lindelof to Lyon

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly stopped the club's chiefs from offloading Victor Lindelof this summer.

The Sweden international is wanted by French League giants Olympique Lyonnais since as they continue to prepare for the coming season.

He joined the Red Devils from Benfica in 2017 in a deal valued at £31 million, but struggled for playing time at Old Trafford last summer.

Metro citing L’Equipe reports that Lyon are interested in signing Lindelof before the summer window closes.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils boss is said to be against the idea of allowing the central defender to leave United.
