Breaking: Troops intercept Boko Haram hostage Zainab Mohammed in Borno

- The Nigerian Army public relations officer, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu, has revealed that troops of the Armed Forces have intercepted a Boko Haram hostage in Borno state

- According to a report published by Chukwu on his Twitter page, the hostage, Zainab Mohammed is 15 years of age

- Mohammed was intercepted by men of the force on Sunday, July 29 somewhere in the Gubla area of the state

Meanwhile, reported that troops in Borno killed five Boko Haram insurgents and captured a top commander of the group in the ongoing operation in Sambisa Forest and the Lake Chad basin.
