Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Juventus star Miralem Pjanic this summer.

The Blues new manager Maurizio Sarri wants to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2018-19 Premier League season.

According to reports filtering the media in Italy, the tactician might be close to landing his third signing according to Daily Star.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have already landed Jorginho and Rob Green as they look towards adding bite to their attack.

Daily Star also reported that Chelsea chiefs have made contact with Pjanic’s team in recent days but the Bosnia international is reluctant to leave Turin.

The publication also claim that both Manchester City and Barcelona are also sniffing around for the player who is reluctant to leave Turin this summer.

Sarri wants Pjanic to play an integral role in his team alongside France international N’Golo Kante.

Juve on the other hand are not willing to let their man leave this summer, and if they do, he will not leave on the cheap.

The Old Lady need to replenish their coffers having splashed the cash to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in a staggering £89 million deal.
