Juventus sign Pablo Moreno from Barcelona academy in a deal around £625 thousand

Italian League champions Juventus have reportedly completed the signing of Barcelona youngster Pablo Moreno this summer.

The 16-year-old prolific striker netted over 200 goals for the club's various youth teams at the La Masia academy after joining them from Granada five years ago.

He is also a key member of the Spanish U16 national team, and he has joined the Francesco Baldini led Juve youth team.

The Italian champions payed a fee of about €700,000 (£625,000/$820,000) for the superb striker who is also said to be wanted by a few other clubs as reported by Goal.

Arsenal are one of the other clubs said to be interested in the youngster, while Barcelona also had hopes of hanging on to a bright prospect with a good physical presence and technique.

Juve have already signed Cristiano Ronaldo in a four year deal valued at £88 million, while Joao Cancelo was brought in from Valencia in a £36.3 million deal.

Germany international Emre Can signed for the Turin based club after running out of contract with Liverpool last month.

Legit.ng previously reported that Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo revealed the standing ovation he received from fans in Turin the Champions League last season convinced him to move there.

The 33-year-old then at Real Madrid scored twice against his new club including an astonishing overhead-kick in the 3-0 quarter-final win in Turin.

His heroics stunned the globe, with Juve fans graciously standing and applauding a move Ronaldo revealed he fell in love with.
