Senator Shehu Sani says he has been informed that some men in plain clothes came to his Abuja residence asking to see him after he had left for the office.
The lawmaker in a tweet on Tuesday, July 24, however, made it clear that his house was not under siege. The senator who seemed defiant by the visit from the suspected security operatives insisted that he is available.
The senator added that he is a revolutionary having experienced such encounters in the past.
Meanwhile, Senate President Bukola Saraki presided over the Senate after he reportedly escaping a police blockade at his residence in Abuja.

Legit.ng gathered that Saraki had been on the National Assembly complex premises long before the plenary began.
Sahara Reporters stated that there was palpable tension at the National Assembly, as Senate president Bukola Saraki, drove himself into the National Assembly complex in a private vehicle.
It was reported that Saraki was not in the vehicle when a detachment of security operatives blocked his convoy at his Apo residence with the view to preventing them from leaving the house.
