Spanish side Real Madrid have reportedly reached a massive £170 million deal for Chelsea’s Belgium star Eden Hazard.

According to the UK Mirror report, the Chelsea playmaker’s time at Stamford Bridge seems to be nearing an end after he openly courted a move away from West London.

Hazard was among the top performers at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia but he would not be playing Champions League football next season if he stays with Chelsea.

The Los Blancos are eager to sign a replacement for Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently joined Juventus for close to £100million last week.

Reports coming out of the Spanish capital are claiming that the Galaticos are nearing a mega deal for their next big player.

Le10Sport are suggesting the Blues and the Los Blancos have finally agreed on a £170million fee for the Belgium international.

They report further suggest the fee may also include that of shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois, who is equally linked with a return to the Spanish topflight from the Premier League.

Addition report from French media channel RMC Sport suggests Hazard has also agreed personal terms with the Los Blancos.

The Chelsea playmaker currently has 24 months left on his deal at the Stamford Bridge Hazard but faces a decline on his market value if he fails to pen a new deal with the Premier League campaigners.

Reacting after Belgium's Red Devils victory over England’s Three Lions during the 2018 FIFA World Cup third-place playoff, Hazard revealed he was considering trying out new things in the coming season.

"After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different," he said.

"Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Chelsea have placed a £200 million world record price tag on Eden Hazard as they prepare for a possible switch to La Liga side Real Madrid this summer.

According to the UK Sun report, citing sources at the Times, the Chelsea playmaker made it clear he will join the Galaticos after Belgium’s World Cup exit at the hands France’s Les Bleus.

The Los Blancos want to sign a new Galactico after allowing Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo leave for Serie A side Juventus in a £99m deal.
