Dasuki inches closer to freedom as judge signs bail application

- Former national security adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retd), perfects all the bail conditions imposed on him by a court

- Family members and associates of the former government official are reportedly arriving Abuja in anticipation of his release in compliance with the court order

A Federal High Court judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, has formally endorsed the bail application granted former national security adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retd).

Vanguard reports that Justice Ojukwu signed the bail application after Dasuki perfected all the conditions imposed on him by the court in the bail granted him on July 2, 2018.

Sources close to Dasuki said family members and associates of the former government official have been arriving Abuja in anticipation of his release in compliance with the court order.

Legit.ng had reported that Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) was granted bail by a Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja, on Monday, July 2, after being in detention camp of Department of State Service (DSS) since December 29, 2015.

He had been on trial for allegedly using funds meant for procurement of arms for the 2015 campaign of then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
