On May 2013, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria or as it’s shortly known, ICAN, appointed a new president Mr. Rotimi Akanni Omotoso. ICAN President biography
Mr. Omotoso was practicing as a Certified Public Accountant before acquiring the position of a financial adviser in the USA, Georgia. His experience includes 27 years of combined financial management, leadership and banking.

He spent almost ten years working as consultant for the Fortune 100 corporations. It includes the State Accounting Office in Georgia, Verizon Wireless Treasury, and American Express. He even got the Mercury Award in 2004 while working for the American Express.
It’s interesting that Rotimi Omotoso biography is not limited to the United States. He worked for Akintola Williams and Co. in Nigeria. He also served in Ecobank as a financial controller. He even managed to rise to the position of the head of commercial banking. By the way, EcoBank is one of the top 10 banks in Nigeria, check which banks are also in the top!
What about Rotimi Omotoso educational background? He finished his education at Polytechnic of Ibadan and received his MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University. He also got a degree from the University of Georgia. Today, he is also a member of the following organizations:
