Arsenal target Andres Gomes wants to join Tottenham after quitting Barcelona

- Portugal international Andres Gomes has shown interest in joining Premier League top club Tottenham Hotspur this summer

Barcelona superstar Andre Gomes has reportedly decided to shun Arsenal's interest and join their city rivals Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Portuguese star is not satisfied with his bench warming role at the Camp Nou last season and wants to leave the club before the start of the 2018-19 term.

Gomes, 24, who joined the Catalans from fellow Spanish League outfit Valencia 2016 has scored three goals in 46 appearances for the club.

However, the player is keen to join the Lilywhites in a bid to secure more playing time having missed the FIFA World Cup owing to the bench warming role at his present club.

Barcelona-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo reveals that Italian champions Juventus have also shown interest in the want away midfielder, but might be reluctant to spend more money having splashed out £100 million on Crisitiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile the Portugal international will cost his suitors around £18 million and is reportedly keen to work with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. previously reported that Barcelona have offered to give Chelsea Andres Gomes in exchange for their French midfielder N’Golo Kante as a long term replacement for club legend Andres Iniesta, suggest reports.
