Real Madrid stars have taken to social media to pay tributes to Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo who has left the Spanish club for a move to Italian champions Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his nine years stay at the Bernabeu by helping the Spanish giants to win the Champions League last season beating Premier League side Liverpool in Kiev.

Sergio Ramos who is the captain of Real Madrid was joined by other teammates as they showed their respect to the former Manchester United star.

Brazil legend Pele even also took the chance to congratulate Cristiiano Ronaldo on his switch to the Serie A.

Ronaldo joined Real from Manchester United for £80m in July 2009 and scored a club-record 451 goals and won the Ballon D'Or in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.

He has helped Real Madrid win the Champions League in four of the past five seasons scoring in the 2014 and 2017 finals.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo agreed to join Italian champions Juventus in a staggering £88m deal after club's President Andrea Agnelli traveled to Greece to convince him to join the Turin side.

Ronaldo who joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2008 for a then world record £80 million is the La Liga club's all-time top scorer with 451 goals in all competitions.
