- A self-acclaimed evangelist attempted to mock popular pastor Poju Oyemade recently
- He questioned why the man of God was in Russia to watch the World Cup
- Pastor Poju firmly told him to mind his business
A lot of Nigerians have travelled to Russia in the past month to catch a glimpse of the ongoing 2018 World Cup.
Perhaps it was in this same mood that Pastor Poju Oyemade, Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, decided to watch the France vs Belgium game in Russia.
However, his appearance at the stadium did not sit well with a self-acclaimed evangelist who took to Twitter to question what value his attendance of the match will add to his church members.
Not one to let such an ‘attack’ go unanswered, Pastor Poju firmly told the man to mind his business. See his post below:
The famous man of God also wrote on how football is a global game and that a smart leader should harness its power.
"Football is truly a global game. A smart leader should harness its power. Met all these guys an hour ago and we are like family. 5 countries Brazil, China, France, South Africa and me repping Naija."
