Plastic surgery is not confidence - Actress Shirley Igwe advises ladies

It has become a trend for ladies not to appreciate their God given bodies as they are ready to go to any length in having the perfect skin or figure they desire.

Nollywood actress Shirley Igwe has taken to her social media handle to call out ladies who are fond of spending so much money on plastic surgeries. She added that women need to stop feeling inadequate about themselves because plastic surgery will still not guarantee their confidence.

The light-skinned actress also seized the opportunity to appreciate her body saying she is fearfully and wonderfully made.

Her post reads: “Flashback Friday. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Women need to stop feeling inadequate. Love yourself just the way you are, if there's a void in your life you think need to be filled, work on your mind, soul, and spirit. Plastic surgery, injection fillers, bum bum raising, liposuction cannot help you fill any void. The moment you get them done, there will definitely be another void you need to fill. Plastic surgery is not confidence. I'm sorry ladies but, this is the truth, don't be deceived. All that glitters is not gold. Go on diet if you need to shed some fat, eat right, work-out if you need to be in shape/toned.
