Serie A campaigners, Napoli are considering splashing out £26 million on Chelsea’s Brazilian defender, David Luiz, suggest latest report coming out of Italy.
According to UK Sun report, citing sources at Italy’s Il Mattino hinted that the Blues’ fan favourite is closing to moving to the Italian topflight this summer as the Stamford Bridge outfit are getting set to unveil ex-Donkey’s manager, Maurizio Sarri as new manager.
Already, both teams have concluded discussions on a fee for the football tactician, who position at Napoli has been taken by ex-Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Interestingly, the Serie A campaigners are hoping to use the friendly atmosphere existing between both teams to submit a bid for David Luiz.

And with Blues’ reportedly nearing a £35m deal for Juventus’ Daniele Rugani, it appears the Brazilian could be heading for the exit doors’ to free up more cash for the Premier League side.
The report further hinted that Chelsea’s incoming manager is likely to change Conte’s defence formation from a three-man defence when he resumes, thus suggesting that the FA Cup kings will need only four centre-backs going forward.
Interestingly, the duo of Andreas Christensen as well as Antonio Rudiger appear to be safe, while Three Lions’ ace Gary Cahill is likely to remain at Stamford Bridge for one more campaign.
Spanish international, Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to move back to right-back poition, and with the coming of Rugani, Luiz most likely be on the way out following Napoli’s juicy offer.
Therefore, it will offer a reunion of sort for the player as well as Ancelotti since his arrival at Stamford Bridge back in 2011.
